Rosa Medina is an Executive Immigration Legal Assistant and Senior Paralegal with more than 27 years of experience supporting immigration, family law, and general legal practices across the United States and has been with our law firm since February 2020. She brings a rare combination of deep legal knowledge, exceptional client communication skills, and a longāstanding commitment to serving immigrant communities with professionalism, empathy, and cultural sensitivity.
Rosa has extensive experience preparing and managing complex immigration matters, familyābased applications, asylum cases, removal defense, and consular processing. Her background includes drafting briefs, sworn declarations, legal memos, and highāstakes filings under strict deadlines, drafting complex legal documents, including briefs, memos, sworn declarations and visa petitions.
Throughout her career, Rosa has supported law firms of all sizes—from national immigration practices to solo attorneys—managing client intakes, conducting sensitive interviews, preparing litigation support materials, and coordinating case strategy. Her work with vulnerable populations, including unaccompanied minors and survivors of trafficking and violence, demonstrates her dedication to traumaāinformed advocacy.
Rosa is also a Certified Spanish Interpreter and a Washington State Certified Electronic Notary Public, allowing her to provide accurate translations, sworn statements, and notarized documents as part of comprehensive client support. She is fluent in Spanish and English, with working knowledge of French, Italian, and Portuguese, enhancing her ability to serve diverse communities.
